We have four membership categories, each tailored to your needs as an individual or organization. CCBC members get access to a variety of resources and benefits:
A subscription to Canadian Children’s Book News magazine.
A subscription to our book guide, Best Books for Kids & Teens.
An invitation to our Annual General Meeting each June.
Invitations to special events hosted by the CCBC.
Individual Membership

Individual members enjoy a one-year subscription to our quarterly magazine, Canadian Children’s Book News, and Best Books for Kids & Teens, our semi-annual selection guide to the best new Canadian children’s books, magazines, audio, and video.
Members also receive an invitation to our Annual General Meeting each June, and invitations to select special events hosted by the CCBC.
Memberships are $75 for individuals, $45 for Seniors (65+), and $45 for students.
Professional Creator Membership

This membership is for authors, illustrators, and professional storytellers. Professional Creator members enjoy a one-year subscription to Canadian Children’s Book News and Best Books for Kids & Teens.
Members also receive an invitation to our Annual General Meeting each June, and invitations to select special events hosted by the CCBC.
Professional Creator memberships can be purchased for $50.
Associate Membership

This membership is for individual schools, small and medium libraries, and single-location bookstores. Associate members enjoy a 10-copy subscription to Canadian Children’s Book News and Best Books for Kids & Teens.
Members also receive an invitation to our Annual General Meeting each June, and invitations to select special events hosted by the CCBC.
Associate Memberships can be purchased for $150.
Corporate Membership

This membership is for school boards, large libraries, multiple-location bookstores, publishers, and wholesalers. Corporate members enjoy a 15-copy subscription to Canadian Children’s Book News and Best Books for Kids & Teens. They can also claim a 20% discount on advertising in our publications.
Members also receive an invitation to our Annual General Meeting each June, and invitations to select special events hosted by the CCBC.
Corporate Memberships can be purchased for $500.

You can also help support the Canadian Children’s Book Centre by making a donation. As a not-for-profit charity, we rely on the support of the public to continue our operations.
