Best Books: Children's Reading Series - Picture a Tree

Award-winning author/illustrator Barbara Reid reads from her latest book Picture a Tree and demonstrates how she crafts beautiful art from modelling clay. Children can make their own creations to take home. The reading/workshop will take place on Saturday, January 28 from 2pm-3pm in the Riverview Salon of the Museum.

Presented by the Canadian Children's Museum, the Canadian Children's Book Centre and TD Bank Group, the Canadian Museum of Civilization will host a series of monthly (six) Museum-based weekend presentations by award-winning Canadian authors and/or illustrators who will provide workshops and hands-on learning sessions for kids and families. Free with Museum admission.
