The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie

A series of inexplicable events has struck Buckshaw. A dead bird is found on the doorstep with a postage stamp pinned to its beak. Hours later, Flavia finds a man in the cucumber patch and watches him as he draws his last breath.
