A Literacy Quilt!
Illustrator Bill Slavin let us know about this awesome quilt Corinne Bantle created in celebration of literacy. Corrine is a Library Technician at Saskatchewan Rivers School Division #119 in Prince Albert and an avid quilter.
The quilt is made up 56 blocks that have been created by notable children's authors and illustrators. Several Canadians contributed including Linda Hendry, Brenda Clark, Bill Slavin and more!
To learn more about the quilt, check out this interview with Corrine Bantle in the Saskatchewan Literacy Network's Literacy Matters newsletter.
