Workshops

The fall of 2011 we will be launching our Little Chief and Mighty Gopher: The Pemmican Frenzy workshops which center around the children’s book and narration CD. This brightly coloured, hard covered book is a story about a young Aboriginal boy who is bullied. He befriends a gopher and together they save the tipi village.

Victor is available for school workshops and assemblies focused on a selection of various topics. For example, common choices are:
• You’ve Got It: (Peer Pressure) Drug/Alcohol Prevention, Bullying Awareness, Leadership Development
• The Best In You: (Self Empowerment) Addictions Prevention (Alcohol, Gambling, Smoking)
• Reality Check: (Self Esteem) Bulling Awareness, Crime Prevention, Suicide Prevention, Life Goals
• You’re Worth It: (Self Health) Relationships, Sexual Abuse, HIV/AIDS, STI’s, Hepatitis C, & FASD
Workshop presentations for Elementary, Jr High, and Senior High age groups are available.

The sessions include interactive comedy, prizes, visuals, and an insightful approach to bullying and peer acceptance as each of us will be challenged to develop our self esteem and make a difference in the lives of those we meet everyday.
