    Biography

    Stephen’s career as a children’s author began in 1987 with the publication of Albert’s Old Shoes, a children’s book illustrated by his mother, Mary Jane Muir, published by Scholastic-Tab. Some twenty years later it is still available from Fitzhenry & Whiteside. Stephen has enjoyed giving readings to children in BC and Alberta. He currently lives in North Vancouver with his wife, Shannon, and two sons, Adam and Jacob.
