Biography

Stephanie Bénéteau is a fluently bilingual professional storyteller. She performs in schools, libraries and concert venues in the Montreal area and around Quebec as part of the Quebec government's Artists in Schools program. She has been invited to tell at many festivals, including the Montreal Intercultural Storytelling Festival, the Ottawa Storytelling Festival, the Toronto Storytelling Festival and many others. She toured Ontario as a storyteller during Canadian Children's Book Week in 2002. Stephanie has developed a unique storytelling workshop that she presents in schools in both English and French. She has also told stories on CBC radio, been a guest lecturer at McGill and Concordia Universities and presented at many conferences.
