Readings

Rod is a high energy performer who typically begins his sessions by disclosing some personal history in an attempt to explain why he is a writer, then moves into a reading usually asking his audience to "guess which parts are real and which parts are 'just made up'". He talks about what goes into making a book and/or movie then does a Q & A with the students. He then closes by reading all or part of a story for his audience.
