Biography

Thanks to a father in the Canadian Army, I grew up all over the world. I had my first (4 line) poem “published” in my school magazine when I was 7 or 8. I spent most of my adult life teaching primary level students. I started writing children’s stories and poems when my two children were young, but was only able to devote myself to writing full time when I retired from teaching in 2003. Oliver Has Something to Say is my first book, published in 2007.
