Biography
Oliver Neubert was born 1961 in West Germany. Oliver took a long route to discover his passion for writing the stories that come to life in his vivid imagination. His detours included getting his tool and die maker apprenticeships with Mercedes Benz, German Car manufacturer, getting his degree in Psychology and Economics from Simon Fraser University in BC and an MBA from Hariot-Watt University in Scotland, founding his own research company, working for a financial institution, and working in the pulp and paper industry.
As well he volunteered with the Victim Services unit of the Vancouver Police.
Oliver lives in Vancouver, BC, and draws inspiration from his natural surroundings and from his wonderful, creative daughter.
Both of the “Chantel’s Quest” titles have been selected in the category of “Life Skills” on The Association of Canadian Publishers Hot List for the Ontario Library Investment Project (LIP).
He has also written some short stories that have been used in teaching material for “English as a second language”.
