Readings

Meg likes to talk about how it is possible to overcome hardships and challenging times as a child. To let the children know that if she can come from a hard knock life and become an award winning movie actress and a published author then anyone can. All it takes is hard work, determination and a little bit of luck. Meg reads a bit from her book and then does Q&A. Meg readings can geared towards Grades 3 to 7 or Grades 8 to 12.

Workshops

Meg talks about the writing process. She reads a couple of very short pieces as a kicking off point to get their writers minds thinking, then they write for 20 minutes, immediately followed by reading their pieces out loud. Meg then offer constructive feedback on ways that they might improve it.
For this workshop Meg needs at least 1 hour and a half. Two hours is ideal.
