The Night Before a Canadian Christmas, Canadian Jingle Bells and A Moose in a Maple Tree are all Canadian retellings of Christmas classics, packed full of humour and Canadian references. If a CD player or a computer with speakers is available, I can play the CD to sing along with, and the kids can join me in the chorus. It is a fun, musical, educational and patriotic experience for young people to enjoy.

Biography

I have worked as an illustrator and graphic designer for eight years, and have designed many children's books and magazines both in Canada and the UK. I have contributed illustrations to many books, magazines and marketing materials over the years as an in-house designer/illustrator. I am the illustrator of three children's books, The Night Before a Canadian Christmas, Canadian Jingle Bells and A Moose in a Maple Tree. I have also has many years experience working with children as a Naturalist teaching environmental education, as a Mad Science Instructor and as a TA at a Montessori Preschool. Over the course of my experience, I was regularly required to captivate and entertain large groups of children, and storytelling was and integral part of that process.
