Readings
Georgia explains the process of illustrating a children’s book from the storyboard to the printing press. She demonstrates many techniques that she has discovered while illustrating her books. She shows examples of her illustrations with oversized books that include sketches and illustrations in various stages.
Special Equipment:
Long table at the front for my easel and sample artwork; kids sitting on the carpet (not chairs).
Book Sales:
Copies of books can be brought to be sold and autographed, or order forms can be provided.
Biography
Georgia is in the process of illustrating her 14th picture book. She has written four. Her styles change to suit the story. She always works in pastel.
