Biography

Barbara Haworth-Attard is a native of Elmira, Ontario, presently residing in London, Ontario with her family. June 1995 saw the publication of her first junior novel, Dark of the Moon. Since then she has written thirteen novels in the historical fiction, fantasy and contemporary genres for middle-grade and young adult readers. Her latest book is A is for Angst which will be released fall of 2007 from HarperCollins Canada. In 2006, Henry Holt and Company brought out the US edition of Theories of Relativity and Editions Thierry Magnier of France released Theories of Relativity in 2007. Barbara also writes short stories for anthologies and magazines. Next to writing and reading Barbara loves to quilt. She takes great joy in cutting up material and sewing it back together again, watching a bed quilt or wall hanging being born beneath her fingers. Two of Barbara's books have quilting themes in them.
