The award is presented to an Alberta publisher for best book illustration. This particular award is judged on illustrations including drawings, paintings, photographs and other artwork. Children’s books and art books may be entered. Books are judged on artistic merit, innovation of form, quality of production values and appropriateness to the intended market.
