The award is now divided into the categories of Young Adult and Children. The Manitoba Literary Awards are sponsored by the McNally Robinson Booksellers and administered by the Manitoba Literary Awards Committee of the Manitoba Writers’ Guild. The winner of each category receives a $2500 cash prize. Eligible authors must be a resident of Manitoba for three of the last five years as well as one of the past two years.
