Joyce Barkhouse Writing for Children Prize

The Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia encourages all writers in Atlantic Canada to explore their talents by sending in new, unpublished work to any of five categories, including writing for children. To ensure impartiality of the judges, each writer is asked to choose a pseudonym or pen name. Closing date for submissions is the first Friday in August (annually) and the winner will be announced the following March (annually).
