All books must be considered suitable for publication throughout the world. IBBY-Canada may nominate one book for illustration (in either English or French) and one or two books for text (in English and/or French).Text may be fiction or non-fiction. With the 2000 Honour List, IBBY-Canada also began nominating titles in the translation category.
