Join the CCBC today!
Your membership helps us bring Canadian books and young readers together and supports our programs and publications.
Individual Members of the Canadian Children’s Book Centre enjoy a one-year subscription to our quarterly magazine Canadian Children's Book News and a copy of Best books for Kids & Teens, our annual selection guide to the best new Canadian children's books, magazines, audio and video. Members also receive an invitation to our Annual General Meeting each June and invitations to special events hosted by the CCBC. Membership is $60 for individuals, $30 for Seniors (65+), and $30 for students.
The CCBC defines a Professional Creator as a published author or illustrator, or a professional storyteller. The CCBC will verify the applicant's publication history or credentials. Professional Creator members enjoy a one-year subscription to our quarterly magazine Canadian Children's Book News and a copy of Best books for Kids & Teens, our annual selection guide to the best new Canadian children's books, magazines, audio and video. Members also receive an invitation to our Annual General Meeting each June and invitations to special events hosted by the CCBC.
With an Associate Membership, individual schools, small and medium libraries, and single-location bookstores enjoy 10 copies of each issue of Canadian Children's Book News, 5 copies of Best Books for Kids & Teens, as well as a Book Week Kit. Members also receive an invitation to our Annual General Meeting each June and invitations to special events hosted by the CCBC. Associate Memberships can be purchased for $135.
With a Corporate Membership, school boards, large libraries, multiple-location bookstores, publishers and wholesalers enjoy 10 copies of each issue of Canadian Children's Book News, 10 copies of Best Books for Kids & Teens, a Book Week Kit and a 20% discount on advertising in our publications. Members also receive an invitation to our Annual General Meeting each June and invitations to special events hosted by the CCBC. Corporate Memberships can be purchased for $500.
Patron Members enjoy a complimentary subscription to Canadian Children’s Book News and Best Books for Kids & Teens, recognition on the CCBC website and a tax receipt for the full amount of their donation. Members also receive an invitation to our Annual General Meeting each June and invitations to special events hosted by the CCBC. Patron Memberships can be purchased for $1000.
